The Full Story
Carly Ameling always had a love for Musical Theatre. At a young age she was known for belting out tunes in her car seat on the way to preschool, putting on productions with her neighborhood girlfriends and dressing up her little sister in any costume she could get her hands on.
Growing up in Northeast Ohio, Carly had the privilege of attending numerous productions at Playhouse Square in Cleveland, which sparked the performing juices, but the musical theater bug officially bit her at age 14 when she played her first lead role as Gertrude McFuzz in a local community theatre production of Seussical.​

A Few of My Favorite Things
I grew up in an animal loving household and throughout my childhood we had cats, dogs, horses and a turtle.

After getting married, I convinced my husband (who has never had a pet) to get a dog. In December 2022, we welcomed home our sweet cavapoo, Woden.

We are both equally obsessed with him!
At 5 years old, I traveled across the world with my parents to Kazakhstan to adopt my little sister. Since, I have been fascinated by other cultures and visiting the many vast places our would has to offer.

Aerial Hoop (Lyra)
In 2018, I took my very first Aerial Hoop class at Body & Pole in NYC and I fell instantly in love.

Dancing in the air has become one of my happy places and I am eager to use my aerial skills in a theatre production one day.
